Anchor Run Farm History
Our CSA, in operation since 2004, is a family owned business that rents farmland at Anchor Run Farm, a 100-acre Open Space Preserve which is owned and stewarded by the citizens of Wrightstown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The farm was acquired in 1996 and 1998 with the support of the Hipple and Wicen families, the Township's residents and Board of Supervisors, and Bucks County Open Space Funds.
In 2014 farmers and business owners Dana and Derek purchased the buildings and homestead area from the township which includes a 200-year-old stone farmhouse, 2-story traditional bank barn, a ranch house, historical corn crib, and several other outbuildings.
Wrightstown Township is committed to protecting farming and encouraging environmentally responsible practices in our community.
Wrightstown Township invites you to reconnect with farmers and the land that nourishes our bodies and spirits and to enjoy the beauty of the farm that your support makes possible.
